pure Kentucky beauty
you can't go far in the Bluegrass State without seeing horses... we have plenty in the Fine Arts and Crafts Department at the Kentucky State Fair this year through August 26, 2007...
...eye of the camera's blur
pastel depicts that which only a camera can?... freezing motion in this drawing medium makes baseball a joy to see in a static way...
winter landscape
many of this year's entries express the spirit of the commonwealth, Kentucky, showing the landscape and spirit of the Bluegrass State... this pastel radiates the soul of the farm in winter...
American Life
a strong group of quality pastel drawings geets the viewer's eye at the 2007 Kentucky State Fair in Louisville... the eleven day run is coinciding with a record breaking heatwave but the one-million+ square feet of airconditioned enclosed convention center "cool" makes the parking lot experience worth the effort... show ends August 26...
