Art With a Needle: Lace invasion

Art With a Needle: Lace invasion

WE, regional fiber artists, know having studied under and/or inspired  by the legacy of Alma Lesch 1917-1999, that a fine thread runs between all of us. We fiber and textile people carry her five-decade long line of vision within our ever evolving work.

It was a joy to use the very silk thread left to me by Alma Lesch to join the dozen or more doilies used in "Christo-wrapping" the concrete urn at the rear entrance to Carnegie Center on this beautiful 80 degree "winter" day on the sunny sideof Louisville. Thanks to Bette Levy for inviting me.
